Cueva Ventana, translates to Cave Window. It is a tourist destination in Puerto Rico. The Cave is in the mountains and has a gaping mouth that on-looks the expanse of island. What is a Motherland? The two protagonists are the everyday deities of two ancestries. They are engaging in a friendly game of back and fourth; a dialogue and rumination on objects and images. Together, they are myth making, forming stories from signs. Moving to imitations of performing magic, baseball hand signals, and everyday gestures. The gestures then activate the objects, laid out to represent the interface of a home screen with icons.Each icon opens its own program, a network of symbols and prompts. This is how the world was made.
